Vintage Marx Gayle Doll Sindy Friend 1978 HTF Rare African American Black Sindy. Sindy's Friend from America. Soft head with 2gen 1077 Made in Hong Kong.

Her hair is missing a lot of plugs underneath but is original length. All joints work and ankles still pose, Knees hold 2 strong clicks.

As I have noticed Gayle's arms never seem to hang very close to her body. Please note; Gayle, s right arm does not sit in the socket as snuggly as the left but is perfectly fine. Please note; Gayle has a very light scratch on her upper torso and a couple of dinks on each foot. There is also a small white dot on her right leg. Has no melt or missing digits.

This is a lovely beautiful hard to find doll for your collection. I have not bothered to re-root as when her hair is down or in a pony tail you do not notice missing plugs. It has some frizz at the ends..

But if you are creative you can give her a nice hair do. I like to keep them as original as possible. Gayle is becoming more & more rare especially in excellent condition.
