We are offering a gorgeous vintage 1952-53 strung Vogue Ginny black doll wearing her crisp and complete Cheryl outfit #44 from the Tiny Miss Series of dolls that Vogue offered in 1952. They offered this doll also as a walker in 1954. It seems that the early strung black Ginny is desired most by collectors. Made in limited quantity and especially hard to find in this condition; ready to display and show off her crisp like new but vintage 1952 Cheryl outfit that is one of the prettiest outfits they offered in 1952 and Ginny seems to glow in it.

Lush original wig, great coloring and beautiful outfit complete including stiff slip, wrist tag and plus box, a great doll ready to find a new home. Ginny is a hard plastic black doll marked on her back Vogue doll, early strung. She has sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows and nice pink factory blush (no re-blushing, guaranteed). Her eyes do need assistance to open and close, common and acceptable to most collectors. She has been restrung so now she can pose nicely without the fear of her falling apart from old worn near breakage or loose stringing.

She has no chips, cracks or repairs other than the restringing. All fingers intact with no breaks, no repairs. Her beautiful dark brown factory wig still retains most of the original set with the typical few stray hairs one might expect after well over 60 plus years and being in her box.

No restyling, no trims or cuts, wonderful factory original wig, exactly as issued. Nice overall factory coloring with no rubs to coloring, nice visible lashes and brows.

She is one you don't often see and especially in her gorgeous Cheryl outfit that she has been stored away in until we decided it is time for her to be enjoyed by a new owner. Her outfit is what most would consider mint, tagged, and is complete including the original stiff slip; often missing, but included. She loves the way it makes her outfit stand out even more and is original to this outfit. No stains, no tears, no repairs. She is all Vogue factory.

Her dress retains beautiful coloring and has not been ironed, not steamed and has withstood the test of time; beautiful. She wears her matching fat panties that have excellent elastic in waist and legs, wonderful center snap wonderful shoes with good snap attachments and strong attachments, no repairs and vintage original perfect socks.

Her outfit would not be complete if she had forgotten her open crown hat. A beautiful faux straw hat with fuzzy type original flower decoration at inside brim.

The tie ribbon on her dress is pink. Vogue apparently would coordinate the hat and shoes in color with the ribbon tie on the dress; pink ribbon pink scalloped edge faux hat and pink center snap shoes and if blue ribbon with with blue hat and blue center snaps. Ginny also will come to you with her triangular purse and a complimentary doll stand too so you can display her when you get her and share with friends and family. Color of stand may vary from what is shown due to availability, we no longer have any of the colored stands as pictured available. She will come to you in her Vogue Ginny vintage box with label (colored doll, undressed as pictured). Box is in very good overall condition and one she has been stored in and kept so nicely all these years. A gorgeous doll ready to find a new home and be enjoyed; we think you will just love her. A very special doll that we have owned for years and is one we have always cherished in our collection.
