VINTAGE Superstar Era 1978 Black African American KISSING CHRISTIE DOLL & Outfit

This is a HARD TO FIND African American Barbie Doll from the 1970's called "Kissing Christie", item #2955. She is marked (c)Mattel, Inc. When you press the button on her back she is supposed to make a pucker/kiss...

She doesn't work perfectly, but it does still move her head/lips forward a bit (see video). She has wonderful curly hair. She is wearing her original Dress.

The shoes are the correct strappy style but not the exact color and are marked Korea... One fastener has a small split starting. There are some very minor stress cracks starting at neck, but head is secure. Overall she shows only minor wear from age and is still in GOOD presentable condition.
