These are from an album of a fella who was African American and in WWII. These photos are glued on a piece of album type paper. The one on left is 5x7 and reminds me of an entertainer publicity photo they would pass out... His last name was Willamson, seems she wrote that and signed Dolores.

The other one is very unique, again made out to him, but signed Rosalie, but has a logo on photo from : Th. Which would make me think this was something he got in Germany perhaps at a night club, etc. The logo if you use zoom is in lower right hand side, only in the Rosalie photo, which measures 3.5 x 5.5. The logo is marked Th. Voight Bad Homburg, on web it says T. H Voight, I would think one in the same, most likely son or grandson? Here is what I found on web about that photography co.

German artist and Photographer from Bad Homburg vor der hohe, just north of Frankfurt. The Voigt Studio, located at 61 Kaiser Friedrich Promenade, Bad Homburg was also the family home until the 1950's. The Studio was Specially Appointed as royal photographers for The Emperor and King of Prussia, The King of Spain, The Prince of Wales, The King of Serbia, The Queen of England and India, as well as others. After the death of T. Voigt in 1888, his second wife Louise, remarried Mr.

Hatzig, and they continued to run the studio into the 1900's, even expanding to a second location in Frankfurt. The Gothic House Museum in Bad Homburg has collected works from both father and son. Voigt photographs are held at the George Eastman House, Rochester, NY and the U. Library of Congress, along with the private collection of Chris Brenner, the Great Great Grandson of Thomas Heinrich Voigt.

All this being said, keep in mind they are glued on page. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Photographic Images\Photographs".more" and is located in this country: US.
