Antique Bronze Bust African American Young Black Girl 1930 Phyllis Blundell
Antique Bronze Bust of African American Girl 1930. Here we have a beautifully modeled bronze bust of a young African American girl. One can tell, and the artist has captured this with skill and insight, that the girl is strong-willed and feisty. She wears a few braids in her hair, one of which forms a cute pony tail in back. Inscribed backside of the bronze, "Phyllis Blundell 1930". The bronze is raised on a black wooden block along with a square of veined black marble (not original - you can choose to pass on this if you do not care for it). A captivating addition to your collection of sculpture or an appropriate interior.

Size : 11 1/2" (29.21 cm) Height of Bronze // 19 1/2" (49.53 cm) Overall Height (Includes marble square). Bio (Courtesy NY Times Obit - 4/4/92) : Phyllis Q.
