Probably by Simon & Halbig and incised: 38 with brown glass, sleep eyes, tiny open mouth with teeth, finely painted upper & lower lashes, remnants of original black wig, original pate in place and original five-piece, jointed brown composition body with painted-on blue shoe (one foot is broken off at the ankle) and molded ribbed stockings with red bands. She wears original beige and pink wool dress with lace trim, matching bonnet with pink trim and comes complete in her original wicker basket that contains four additional homemade frocks and a brown velvet coat. Her trousseaux basket measures: 4 square and is stamped: Germany on the base. (#2975) She has no chips, hairlines or cracks, no holes or repairs and no odors as she come from a smoke free home and makes a terrific presentation.
