Charming antique, BROWN bisque doll, sgnd. UNIS 60 FRANCE jointed withglass eyes

Very pretty, 8 1/2 tall, antique brown, bisque sockethead, jointed lady doll incised on the back of her head in an oval : UNIS/FRANCE/60 21/149, (incised 12/0 at base of neck socket) circa 1905. U nion N ationale I nter- S yndicate, union formed by Societe Francaise de Fabrication de Bebes & Jouets. With beautiful finish and brown complexion.

She has a swivel head with delicate features including lovely inset, black glass eyes, open mouth with row of tiny teeth, pretty cheek blush and a fine, five-piece composition and wood, French body with joints at her shoulders and hips with flat feet to stand, brown, braided hair wig. Originating from one of the French colonies.

She wears a wonderfully detailed, lace trimmed, printed cotton, island dress with matching headdress, sash with round brass buckle, petticoat and panties, aqua beaded necklace and black painted, low boots. She is in excellent condition with no damages, no hairlines or chips, no repairs or fading and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
