Handsome, 6 inch German, antique black bisque dollhouse doll dressed as servant
Very attractive, early dollhouse gentleman butler... Charming, 6 1/4 tall, antique, black bisque shoulderhead, dollhouse male figure for your dollhouse family. He has molded and painted black curly hair and deeply molded features with dark brown eyes and nice mouth. He has detailed black bisque lower arms and finely detailed hands, black bisque lower legs with molded boots with tan soles and a original linen body with sawdust filling. He is incised on the back of the shoulder : 649 and wears a his original 3-piece, black wool suit with coat tails, white linen shirt and vest, white satin bow tie and tiny front buttons and is in very good condition with no repairs and no odors as he is from a smoke free home.
Very good quality little doll, circa 1900 , and a real treasure as these earlier dolls are quite difficult to find!
