This offering is for a circa 1930's folk art hand made black sateen cloth rag doll. 18 in height and she wears only her under garments. The doll features a hand embroidered features as well as woolly hair.

The overall condition is very nice with typical wear but still very nice. There is a darned hole on one leg and one of her finger tips was also darned. Otherwise there are a few very small holes as you often see on sateen dolls but no notable damage.

The black sateen body hard stuffed with rags and she is a combination of hand and machine sewn. She was made in a position where her arms stand out from her sides as seen in our photo's and she slumps more than sits.
