In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with a short closed tear to the top edge of the front panel, a small nick to the front spine fold near the foot, light rubbing, and light toning.
Shakur was active in the Black Liberation Army and briefly a Black Panther Party member. She was charged with the murder of a state trooper, though escaped prison and fled to Cuba, where she was granted political asylum.
