BEAUTIFUL 1880s-1900 O/C PAINTING AFRICAN AMERICAN BLACK PORTRAIT STORMS CWA

This is an Estate Fresh old Oil on Canvas painting I pulled out of the bottom of an old trunk long ago. Sadly I know little to nothing about it.

It is most certainly an old canvas on an old stretcher attached with old rusted nails. There is some craquelure but everything is good and tight with no paint loss.

The woman is beautiful and dressed in an old dress. I just love it for what it is. A beautiful early Americana Folk Art Painting. It measures unframed 12"x8.75" wide.

At some point in time someone pend their version of a dragon on the reverse side of this canvas with no impact on the front.
