Here up for sale is a used composition African American doll with opening and closing eyes, probably from the 1940s or thereabouts. Head, arms, and legs are made of hard material, with the chest and upper leg areas made of stuffed cloth.

Does not stand up, but sits up fine when her back is leaned against a wall. Missing quite a bit of hair on the back of her head as shown. The head needs to be tapped in order to get the eyes to open and close fully. Makes a squeaky noise when the head is tilted, either by design or because a part on the inside needs lubrication, not sure which.

Some paint imperfections present in the brown colored factory paint. The black shoes are probably made of vinyl or similar material.
