Hasbro My Buddy Doll 1985 Black African American Box! Free Ship

This is not the doll that came in this box. This is the first edition of the doll. The 1985 dolls don't have seams in the arms and legs is the only difference between those and later editions. I believe the socks and shoes are original to the doll, but doll comes with no other original clothing.

He is in really good condition. His face is mostly clear with only a few very small scuffs. I did add stuffing to this doll because they can become bobbly over time as the stuffing degrades. That is how the stretch marks formed. The seams are below the neckline, not visible with clothing on. With his new fiberfill, he'll be ready for play and hugs for years to come! The box looks good for its age.

The cellophane has become loose from the front of the box. It was only displayed for a brief time then kept at the top of a closet.
