Whose black doll creations are well known worldwide. Mary, likes to create her dolls to look as though they. Are real children from bygone eras.

She prefers them to have the "lived in looks". (as though they actually lived in their clothes). She gives a certain realism to all her creations.

Lucinda, proud and prissy, comes to you straight from the 1930's era. Though she is a poor little girl, in her hand me down jumper. She has gently sashed it with a huge bow, donned her brand new hat. Grabbed her favorite rag doll and off she goes thinking.
