Very unusual, antique black cloth, boudoir or bed doll-type, night-dress or pajama bag , circa 1930 , and slightly earlier. These items were the forerunners of the Art Deco bed dolls that became so popular during and following World War I. Measuring about 22 long, this commercially produced charmer has a beautifully molded and painted mask-type face with side-glancing , eyes, red lips with painted teeth and original black mohair wig with hair ribbon. She has a swivel neck and dark brown arms and cute little stuffed feet with nicely stitched fingers and toes.

She wears both her original bone bracelets and pearl beaded necklace. Her original body is a lovely, pink flower printed, taffeta dress (bag) with self ruffles, puff sleeves, fitted bodice with button trim and pretty shawl collar with an opening at the back to. Hold night clothes, a pillow, laundry or whatever else you prefer. This vintage material holds its shape very well with no tears or holes, no stains or fading and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
