Ooak Tall Rare Hyperrealistic African American Black Art Clay Doll Mark Dennis

This lovely doll is a very rare, hyper realistic African American black art clay doll created by artist Mark Dennis in 2006. She stands at 22 inches tall, with a 7 wide base. I believe this is the only one out there. She looks so realistic and her skin feels so real, so textured.

I often wonder if she is clay with a wax finish. Her eyes are translucent dimensional like, you can almost see inside her soul.

Her dress may look dirty, but it was made like this by the artist. The defects are: she is missing her bucket, her right pinky finger, and her right big toe. I believe one of her other fingers on her left hand was re- glued. Please zoom into the photos.
