Pretty antique, BROWN bisque, signed UNIS 60 FRANCE, jointed doll withglass eyes

Charming, 10 1/2" tall, (12" including headdress) antique dark brown, fired bisque sockethead jointed lady doll incised on the back of her head in an oval : UNIS/FRANCE/60 7l/149, (incised 12/0 at base of neck socket) circa 1875 with beautiful finish and dark complexion. She has a swivel head with delicate features including lovely inset black glass eyes, open/ closed mouth with row of tiny teeth and a fine, five-piece composition and wood, French body with joints at her shoulders and hips with flat feet to stand, black curly hair wig beneath her original printed cloth, turban headdress with gold pin.

Originating from one of the French colonies. She wears a lovely detailed, printed cotton, island dress with matching headdress and soft velveteen shawl, petticoat with attached, panties and bead bracelet. She is in excellent condition with no damages, no hairlines or chips, no repairs or fading and no odors as she is from a smoke free home (few tiny wear holes to her petticoat & dress).
