RARE American Horsman tgd. Black vinyl doll POLLY Fairy Skin, Super Flex & BOX
Unusual and very hard to find, stuffed. 13 tall, HORSMAN, black girl (twin) doll. Circa 1950s, as shown on page 204. "Black Dolls", book II-Perkins and on page 66, "Horsman Dolls"-Gibbs. As described, she has: Negroid features, dusky complexion, super-flex legs and. With molded and painted jet black hair. Drawn back into two molded pigtails. He actually has an open/closed mouth (as if laughing) with molded and painted tongue and teeth, cute expression with full rosy cheeks and nice details.
She has individually molded fingers with fingernails and dimples and is in very good condition with no damages or repairs (tiny nostril imperfection, hard to see). This hard to find cutie has no holes or fading, no stains and no odors. Her condition is still soft and life-like and made entirely of stuffed, soft vinyl plastic, etc. Complete in her original, fully. Labeled Horsman box with tissue.
