Rare Antique French Ethnic Black All-Bisque Doll Barefoot Glass Eyes 61

Rare antique Mulatto-Black all bisque doll with ethnic features, bare feet, swivel neck, and set glass eyes. Her coloring is even lighter brown than most black dolls, nice quality bisque. She is a tiny mignonette only 3.5 without her original black mohair wig.

Her bisque head and body is nice with no chips or cracks, marked with 61 on head, possibly Gebruder Kunlenz doll maker made for the French market. Her slender body is wonderfully made with tiny hands and barefoot. She is dressed nicely in an antique red linen dress, shows age wear in spots, all handmade. She has a sweet antique lace bonnet with red ribbon. One of the stringing holes in her leg is metal and one is bisque, could be an old repair?

Only seen when leg is pulled out. She has a brown bulldog companion that comes with her on his chain leash. Ready for display she wears a tiny red glass beaded necklace and tiny gold bracelets on her arms. Comes from a non smoking home.

Her Black ethnic features is what makes her even more rare, most black dolls have dolly faces not a character face. She is a tiny example of a French Ethnic Feature Black Mignonette barefoot girl... Would go great with a larger Black doll.
