Vintage Cosmopolitan GINGER Black Doll GINNY CLONE African American 1950's 8 in

This doll is a Cosmopolitan Ginny Doll manufactured in the 1950's to compete with the Vogue dolls. She is made of hard plastic and is approximately 7.5 to 8 inches tall. She has the stitched on wig which is a hallmark of the Cosmopolitan dolls. Vintage Cosmopolitan GINGER Black Doll GINNY CLONE African American 1950's 8 in. This doll is a Cosmopolitan Ginger Doll manufactured in the 1950's to compete with the Vogue dolls. From the little bit of information I have found about her, she is supposed to be a walker. Her legs will move forward but not back. Her arms move up and hold there until you tap them. Head seems loose, and I believe that is where the issue may be that is preventing her from walking. It is attached fine, just a little wobbly. Her eyes open when she is up and close when laid down. Hair needs to be restyled. She does appear to have a walking mechanism, but it doesn't work correctly. Eyes open and shut as they should.
