Scarce vintage 1947 archive of 41 photo negatives of a Black family's July and August road trip vacation from New York state to Gaspe, Quebec in Canada. Listing images are also shown inverted so that you have an idea of how they will look when prints are made from them.
Photos include views of Ausable Chasm, a sign for "Magnetic Hill", the Parliament building and a statue of Joan of Arc in Quebec, scenes of the Gaspe, a home in Marston Mills Cape Cod, and more. Very good condition with some minor surface wear. Images measure 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" (excluding margins); some are slightly trimmed smaller. This photo came from a group of her family photos.
