Introducing Wedgewood England, 1759 Barbie. Made by Mattel 50824 in 2000.

This doll is a must-have for any collector or Barbie enthusiast. This is a very rare and hard to find Barbie doll. The African-American version was very limited in production, which makes this one more difficult to find than the Caucasian version. It features a beautiful medium-dark complexion and the widely sought lovely Asha face sculpt.

She has a twist and turn waistband, bending knees, and a poseable body. She comes with a display stand and a certificate of authenticity. She remains inside her original box and has never been removed. The doll comes dressed with classic 18th century, perfectionism.

Inspired by Josiah Wedgewood, who changed the history of decorative arts with his prized invention, Jasper. This classic jasperware inspires an extraordinary Barbie doll as eternal as the work of Josiah Wedgewood.

The sumptuous gown is perfectly accessorized with an authentic Wedgewood cameo suspended on a faux, pearl choker, long white evening, gloves, and pearl earrings. Finally, her classically upswept hair, accented with a pink ribbon, complete Barbie dolls lovely on ensemble. This stunning doll does not disappoint. Although this item has never been removed from box, there appears to be a darker hue on the face of the doll. That is why I marked it as used.
